I found the animals on Mainland to be curious too – slightly unnerving when you see a herd of Aberdeen Angus galloping towards you as you approach on a bicycle! But what a wonderful place. I would dearly love to go back and see the Ness of Brodgar, which wasn’t open when I was there.
